How to get to Skagway, Alaska

If you arrive in Skagway without a car, the Historic Skagway Inn will pick you up! We provide transportation from the Airport, Train/Bus Station, or the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry Terminal.
Please schedule a pick-up in advance of your arrival.

By Air
Alaska Seaplanes serves Skagway year-round from Juneau and other nearby towns and villages. Alaska Airlines and Delta fly from Juneu to and from the lower 48.

By Sea
Skagway is the Northernmost stop of the Inside Passage on the Alaska Marine Highway System. A fleet of modern, car-carrying vessels service all of Southeast Alaska. The ferry provides service between Juneau, Haines, and Skagway. Non-car carrying ferries arrive daily on either the Haines Skagway Fast Ferry from Haines or the Fjords Express from Haines or Juneau.

By Bus / Train
From Whitehorse, you can take the Yukon Alaska Tourist Tour Bus Line directly to Skagway, or combine with the White Pass & Yukon Route Rail Road. Alaska Direct offers bus transportation from many Alaska and Yukon cities.

By Car
Skagway is 110 miles south of the Alcan Highway, via the scenic Klondike Highway. Northbound, ride the Alaska Marine Highway from Bellingham, Prince Rupert, or other inside passage ports.

We are located downtown, within the Historic District, on the corner of Broadway and 7th Avenue. The 1910 map indicates our location is at the former “Paradise Alley” and the Red Light District.
